A fun and social way to keep fit and healthy.

Please note: We are currently unable to offer Forever Active sessions and its discounted price. If you are keen to return to exercise and are comfortable in the gym or classes, you can book on to any of the sessions on our new timetable, which is available in the member area or on the Places Locker app.  Our instructors will be on hand to help you should you need assistance with a new programme or advice on alternative exercise options.

 The information below refers to our Forever Active sessions when they resume.


We have a number of sessions and classes for older adults each week.  Just turn up and enjoy a range of activities and meet new friends; all for the great price of £4.95 (half day visit) or £6.90 (full day visit).

First time visitors are welcome for a tour of the centre.  There is no need to book just pop down on a Monday or Thursday to meet the team.  

Please note that the programme is subject to change during the school holidays. Please check the noticeboard in reception for details. 

Forever Active Timetable

Enjoy a gym session from 9.00am - 4.00pm both Monday and Thursday.

Sit down for a coffee and cake in our cafe from 9.00am - 4.00pm also open both days (and throughout the week). 


Group Workout:

  • 9.30am - 10.00am Circuits (please call 01403 211311 to book in advance for this session)
  • 10.00 - 10.20am Virtual beginner indoor cycling (RPM)
  • 10.30am - 11.15am Virtual indoor cycling (RPM)
  • 11.30am - 12.30pm Tai Chi
  • 12.30pm - 1.30pm Zumba
  • 1.30pm - 2.30pm Pilates


  • 11.30am - 12.30pm Ballet Stretch (every 1st and 3rd week of the month)


  • 8.30am - 12.30pm Table Tennis
  • 9.30am - 12.00pm New Age Kurling*
  • 9.30am - 10.30am Walking Netball (every 2nd and 4th week of the month)
  • 9.30am - 12.30pm Tennis (unsupervised)
  • 1.00pm - 4.00pm Badminton
  • 1.45pm - 3.00pm Indoor Climbing
  • 2.45pm - 3.45pm Trampolining

*Please call us to check the New Age Kurling timetable before visiting the centre. Sessions do not run every week.
