We’re pleased to be able to restart our Forever Active programme on Monday 17th May 2021. Activities will run on Mondays and Thursday as usual, but understandably we’ve had to make some significant changes to the way in which we operate sessions. Please see below for further details.

We are running a reduced timetable, so you’ll notice that some sessions have been split into multiple time slots to allow for larger numbers. All sessions have been adjusted to ensure that they are Covid secure and follow guidance from the relevant national governing bodies.
In order to meet government guidelines and ensure that we are compliant with test, track and trace all sessions must now be booked in advance. Sessions can be booked online via our website, via the Places Locker app and you can also call the centre on 01403 211311 to book. If you are in the centre for an activity you can book future sessions with reception, just ask a member of the team. Premium, Gym and Swim members can book 14 days in advance and free Places Members (pay as you move) can book 7 days in advance.
To accommodate the new booking system we’ve had to make changes to the way you pay. You can now pay per session or alternatively we have introduced a Forever Active membership that can be paid monthly by direct debit at £25 per month or annually in advance for £300. Membership covers entry to all Forever Active sessions (other centre activities will be charged at their normal rate). If you are interested in the new Forever Active membership please get in touch.
On Arrival/At the centre
Please make your way to the front entrance. One of our Place Makers will be there to greet you and help you check in. Face coverings should be worn throughout the centre except when taking part in an activity. Our signage will direct you around the centre and our team are on hand to help. A one way system in place and when an activity finishes you have to exit following the one way system. If you are doing another activity you will need to come back to the main entrance and wait for your next session. You can not wait inside the centre for your next activity.

Guidance from Table Tennis England permits only singles play at this time. We have allocated two bubbles of 6 spaces across 2 tables, so all participants can play across all tables but ask that customers only play singles. Participants must bring their own equipment; we are unable to provide equipment at this time. Equipment can be purchased from reception.
Guidance from Badminton England permits single and double play. We have allocated 6 spaces for each court. On arrival we ask that customers decide on their groups of 6 which are then allocated one badminton court. Players to take it in turns to play with only 4 players on a court at any one time, players are not permitted to change courts you must at all times stay on the court you are allocated. Participants must bring their own equipment; we are unable to provide equipment at this time. Equipment can be purchased from reception.
